Managing Director, Carl Peterson (“Clavell’s MD”) has considerable experience in acting as lead manager or lead broker bringing companies through to listing on NZX through various Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) procedures.
Clavell can provide a full service including scoping, structuring, advice on process, prospectus writing, co-ordinating the underwriting and sub-underwriting panel, marketing and overall project management. However, Clavell will tailor the services required to fit each situation to ensure a successful outcome in the most cost effective manner.
In large IPOs where a strong retail presence is required, Clavell will appoint one or more member firms of NZX to act as part of a consortium led by Clavell to obtain the maximum marketing presence. Further, Clavell maintains relationships with major institutions which invest in listed equities in both New Zealand and Australia.
Clavell’s MD has been lead advisor/broker for a number of share market listings including Sovereign Limited, Noel Leeming Appliances Limited (now Pacific Retail Group Limited), Newmarket Property Trust (now part of National Property Trust), Metropolitan Life Care Group (now Metlifecare Limited), Michael Hill Jeweller Limited (now Michael Hill International Limited) and Baycorp Limited (now Veda Advantage Limited).
